Requirement / Responsibility:
10+ years of related Business Development / Sales and Marketing Experience
Should have detailed knowledge of the entire domain considering the logistics industry, specialized in Road transport
Land transport experience is a mandatory and Cold store experience is an advantage (3Pl)
Proven ability in creating new business and client relationships.
Experience to manage the Sales team and work independently
Excellent organization, planning, presentation, and negotiation skills.
A self-starter, able to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree, candidates with same in Business Management will be preferred.
Develop new business for the company through approaching new business customers as defined in sales KPI’s and target.
Create and analyze the team KPI’s to achieve the sales targets
Market analysis and develop the new domines of business
Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Operations and Contract Logistics team.
Develop and improve the client retention strategies
Develop SOPs for strategic accounts in association with Client & Operations.
Establish and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients and suppliers.
Develop commercial awareness and identify market conditions to build growth areas.
Track and report on sales and business development performance and progress.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Analyze the trends of the market and implement the organizational marketing strategies.
