Identify new business opportunities and develop new business accounts. Maintain an active new business prospect list to approach and present to the company. Undertake new business sales calls to win new business.Foster and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and connections.
Requirement
5+ years of related Business Development / Sales experience.
Should have detailed knowledge of the entire domain considering the logistics industry.
Heavy lifts, cross border transportation, project cargo movements experience is a must.
Must have good connections with trucking suppliers.
Proven ability in creating new business and client relationships.
Excellent organization, planning, presentation, and negotiation skills.
A self-starter, able to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree, candidates with same in Business Management will be preferred.
Develop new business for the company through approaching new business customers as defined in sales KPI’s.
Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is planned.
Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Operations and Contract Logistics team.
Focus on winning and keeping profitable business.
Represents the company and its policies to the clients which are defined as “Strategic Accounts”.
Develop SOPs for strategic accounts in association with Client & Operations Manager.IT
Establish and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients and suppliers.
Develop commercial awareness and identify market conditions to build growth areas.
Track and report on sales and business development performance and progress.
Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
