One of our key IT Services clients is looking for a “Marketing Manger” with the following requirements.
JOB SUMMARY
Ensure the development and execution of the marketing activities and strategies and communicate with various marketing agencies. Plan and implement marketing plans, marketing campaigns, etc. to help Smart Solutions achieve its goal and create premier brand image in the market. Ensure adequate participation and presence of Smart Solutions in global trade fairs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all department staff in performing their delegated tasks
Ensure that all department staff acquires required skillsets, knowledge and certifications through appropriate training and professional development programs (in coordination with the Human Capital and Administration Division).
Periodically appraise the staff. Coach and counsel them as required. Encourage good communication among all levels of staff.
Prepare periodic performance reports for the department and provide inputs to the business unit’s performance report.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible to identify customers wants and needs for the products and services in the target sectors and write Market Requirements Document (MRD) against those needs.
Perform market research and intelligence, and Develop comprehensive SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analysis for each Product to identify necessary improvements, potential opportunities and critical success factors.
Develop Product Messaging, including Positioning, Features & Benefits and Unique Selling Proposition (USP) to support and enhance sales pitches.
Support Product Managers and R&D by performing business and market feasibility studies for the development of new products and/or new product features.
Support product managers in defining product pricing.
Guide and coordinate product launch plans with the corporate branding.
Guide, support, and assist corporate branding in developing content for marketing collateral and sales tools for all products, including white papers, case studies, presentations, brochures, etc.
Act as the main contact in the business unit for requirements related to marketing and BU events. Coordinate relevant activities with different BU teams.
Monitor worldwide fairs and tradeshows that are pertinent to the product offerings and coordinate with Events Manager to secure the company presence.
Represent the business unit in tradeshows and engage in networking and information gathering.
Work with the sales team to gather and analyse market feedback, and to communicate products value proposition and sales pitch.
Assist Product Manager in product, market and competitor research for analysis and insight. Arrange feasibility studies for the marketing of new products and /or new product features.
Responsible for selection of events, which company will attend based on strategic priorities and event audience. Negotiate agreements and ensure maximization of return on investment.
Act as the main contact in the Smart Solutions business unit for all requirement from the Corporate Branding (provide product descriptions, news to be used in companies website, corporate brochures, etc.)
Develop marketing materials to support and enhance sales pitches.
Responsible for drafting press releases on new product features, technology developments, etc.
Perform any other related job duties as requested by direct supervisor or as per the process framework, finance or commitment authority delegation matrix.
